I have really been enjoying playing with canvas's lately, this was one of the ones I did earlier.
This is a reverse canvas, you simply work from the back of the canvas and use the back as a 3D frame.

I painted and wet the cherry blossoms to seperate them and lifted the edges to give them a more 3D look, then added bits of flowers and beads.
I have used a crackle medium over the roof tops to add more texture. The fence is cut from the gate, the top was perfect for the fence here!
