Australian Scrapbook Ideas - Issue 18 - Tried & Tested Mix'd Media Inx "Leaning Tower of Pisa""

Back again with the last layout from the Mix'd Media Inx article in Issue 18 in the Australian Scrapbook Ideas magazine.  Leonii took this photo of the Leaning Tower of Pisa on her holiday overseas last year!!! This one shows the use of mixing the Mix'd Media Inx with modelling paste then used over stencils!!

I went live with my facebook page tonight and I am blown away by the response already!!!
Thank you so much everyone from the bottom of my heart!!! :)

Tip:  Blend your Mix’d Media Inks with modelling paste to create different coloured modelling paste. You can use the ink pads or the re inkers for this technique.
Tip:  Mix’d media Inx Blend and run easier over the top of Modelling Paste or Gesso and is absorbed more on plain paper but can still be softened and blended into the paper when spritzed with water.

Posers ~ Donna Salazar & Dusty Attic

Hi I am back again, today I am sharing this layout that I created at the Hyden Retreat in WA.
I think I was channeling my friend Debbie in the picture here as this layout reminds me of her style too. We had a table challenge at the retreat to use the dusty decorative frame #1.
I was also spoilt by Mistra who gave me a bunch of her ready made Donna Salazar Flowers made from the rose creation die! They are just sooo yummy, she is such a clever chickie!
The Sprightly Sprockets white coordinates fit perfectly over the decorative frame. I have also used the Family Portrait - Botanique paper here.
The circle design was created with an Orchid (The Crafters Workshop) Template. The center was inked with the Black Mix'd Media Inx. The blue Sea Kiss Smooch Spritz was wiped on with a baby wipe then I have used a card to wipe a thin layer of modelling paste over this to soften the whole effect. The blue dots around the border were created by sewing french knots on each dot.

Australian Scrapbook Ideas Issue #15

This was my second feature article for Australian Scrapbook Ideas #15

This article was on getting creative with Chipboard.
Issue #15 is out now! You can also purchase it from HERE
All the step by steps for these layouts are also in the magazine.

This is my Nephew Harry, he has such a quick wit he definitely makes us laugh!

This is a very special layout to me, this is my good friend Larnie! She always lit up the room with her smile and bubbly personality when she was around. Sadly we lost Larnie in a car Accident last year. I know she is always with us, will miss you always Hun. x

This is my Beautiful Grandma in her hey day, lots of Dusty on this layout!
I also used the rolled nameplate technique from the very talented Ingrid Gooyer

Australian Scrapbook Ideas Issue #14

Catching up with some more news here, I was excited and honoured to have been asked to design for the Australian Scrapbook Ideas Magazine. My first article in issue #14 was on Effective ways to create your own backgrounds.

All the Steps to Creating these layouts can be found in the magazine.
This Issue can still be purchased HERE
This Layout of my gorgeous friend Mistra and me was created using a resist stamping and inking technique on the background.

This is my beautiful niece Gracie! She is such a gorgeous little girl! I have used a masking technique with Misting and water colour pencils on this background.

This Photo is of my Great Aunty Dot who recently passed away, I love this vintage photo of her. This background was created using tissue paper to create a textured background.

How cute is this little girl, this is my Cousins daughter Mitali and her Dad Darcy. This was a fun background to create. I have used texture paste, sea shells and egg shells to created this textured background.

Thank you for Dropping By!!
Wishing you a fabulous day!
